Also note that his cousin can talk, but they seem to be the only two
that can talk - and can walk upright - and can hold things in their
paws as if they were hands.

There is one episode where, at the end, there's a classroom setting,
and one of the students asks something like, "Can the adults
understand Stewie or not?"
If they can't, I'm surprised they don't just use Brian as a
translator. (Then again, "Rugrats" went all those years where
Angelica and Susie seemed to be the only ones who could understand
what the babies were saying and could talk to the adults, but nobody
figured it out there, either.)
