Claire is always amused at how much of my music is religious in nature.
She will quite often catch me singing,(the last time I sang in front of a
person was to Jess when she was a baby to get her to sleep,) one of the
old fa****oned hymns or spirituals. I think that it is purely because I
was at one time I was the soloist in a choir,(amazing to anybody who has
heard my speaking let alone singing!) and these were the songs that I
grew up listening to.
