Fun with AVG 8 Anti Virus

One of the fun things I got to do on my return to this Sceptered Isle on 
Thursday was to renew my AVGAS subscription. It very nicely upgraded me
from 
version 7 to version 8. As soon as I ran the scan it identified a virus 
called Internet Explorer 7 and promptly removed it from the system and
also 
handily removed all my restore points. A bit annoying on the whole. So I'm

now using Firefox as a browser and cursing a bit because the firms shiny
new 
VPN doesn't seem to want to work with Firefox. Just what I needed after 16

hours flight time.
