HA! We were walking past a jewelers and I made some comment about hiding 
Claires eyes.  She started pointing at things saying "look Claire, 
rings,WEDDING rings!" A while ago I was joking about getting married to 
Claire and she told me that Claire wouldn't marry me because I was "too 
old and ugly". When I reminded Jess of this I was told that I should 
marry Claire because she was "the best I could ever possibly manage to 
get" whereas Claire "could do much better than you!" Of course the 
sarcastic little madam was right but hearing it from someone who has just 
turned ten is rather disconcerting.
