"20th Century Fox is announcing Firefly: The Complete Series later
this morning for Blu-ray Disc release on 11/11 (SRP $89.98). The
series is already available on DVD. The 3-disc set (each BD-50s)
contains all 14 episodes of the Joss Whedon series in full 1.78:1
aspect ratio 1080p video, with audio in English DTS-HD 5.1 Lossless,
German DTS 5.1 and Spanish and French Dolby Surround, plus English,
Spanish and Dutch subtitles. The set will include all of the bonus
material on the previous DVD set, including audio commentary tracks
with the cast and crew on 8 episodes, 3 featurettes (Serenity: The
10th Character, Joss Sings the Firefly Theme and Joss Tours the Set),
deleted scenes, a gag reel and Alan Tudyk's Audition video. Newly
available exclusively for this Blu-ray release, you'll also get an
additional cast and crew commentary on the episode Our Mrs. Reynolds,
as well as the Firefly Reunion: Lunch with Joss, Nathan, Alan and Ron
featurette in HD."
