David Jason, ever the professional, actually "covered" up the mistake,
because when they
both looked, what was it Del said, "Never mind about that (ie the glass).
I'm not talking
about that (not the glass - back to the script)."
If he hadn't covered up it would have been one helluva howler.

PS Del was dubbed in "A Losing Streak" because in the script he says
"genuine Provo
weightwatcher". Not good for Anglo-Irish relations!
