Britain's Best Sitcom: Only Fools & Horses

by "Max Cady" <max.cady@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Feb 29, 2004 at 07:15 PM

David Dickinson did an okay job on presenting his case for OFAH as the
nation's best
sitcom. However, I had to disgree with Damian as one of the plus points
and where was the
Guesting Cockneys, namely Jim Broadbent as former CI Slater, Joan Sims as
Trigger's Aunt
Reen and Roy Marsden & Christopher Ryan as the notorious Driscoll
Brothers?

The post 1992 episodes were dogs, I am afraid, and more emphasis should
have been on the
80s episodes which grew in stature peeking with The Jolly Boy's Outing
(1989).

I reckon the vote will go:

1. OFAH
2. Fawlty Towers
3. Blackadder
4. One Foot in the Grave
5. Porridge
6. Dad's Army
7. Yes Minister
8. Open All Hours
9. Good Life
10. VOD (sh. for Very Odd choice!)
