See, this is what I don't get. This pervasive attitude on Usenet lately 
that "if I don't like a show, then not only will I not watch it, I don't 
want *anyone else* to watch it, either."

There are plenty of shows I don't like (Grey's Anatomy, for example) but 
I'm not actively wishing for them to be cancelled just because they're 
not for me. Others like them so why shouldn't they have their fun, too?
