It was ok, but I agree that Forever Knight was superior. That being
said, the acting in this was pretty good. The guy who plays Henry
seems to have ability -- and boy, is he a knockout! (But I digress.)
I thought that it was too fast-paced, and I wasn't crazy about the
"let's be trendy" camera work. They were apparently trying to cram too
much story into too little time. Between that and the fast pace, you
wind up with something that seems somewhat superficial (how's that for
alliteration?). Also - and I've only read a teensy-weensy bit of the
books, so maybe I shouldn't say this -- but I had the impression that
Mike Selucci (sorry if spelling is wrong) was a tougher kind of guy.
This actor seemed like too much of a "pretty boy" for the part.
However, I could be talking out of my hat on this.
