Don't forget Richard Easton, 'Mel' in "Ham Radio", and Rosemary
Murphy, 'Carol the lush' in "To Kill A Talking Bird".
OTOH, sometimes the guests were virtually unknown, like Scott Atkinson
as 'Clive' in "The Two Mrs. Cranes" or Cynthia Lamontagne as 'Annie'
in "The Ski Lodge".
Some of the credit for this goes to Jeff Greenberg, casting director
for "Frasier", as well as "Cheers" which had a similarly stellar
ongoing roster of guest actors.
Mr. Greenberg, BTW still posted to ATF sometimes back in 1998.
