Are you saying Fox doesn't intend to make money off this deal? Because if
you are, I'd be really interested to know why you believe that. If you
aren't, then you just gave a good reason why Fox *would* want to release
info about it.
The bottom line is that it doesn't make a whit of difference who's airing
the episodes, Fox will be making money off them regardless, which means
they'll be making more money if they get the word out to more people. I'm
not saying they should put Fry and Leela on their site's home page, but
they
should say something, somethwhere on their site about the upcoming movies.
Have they even issued a press release about it?

Yeah? I don't recall seeing anything about this deal on their sites
either.
If it hasn't been decided which network gets to air them then I can
understand, but the fact is hardly anyone is saying anything about the
movies and when they do, they say it to obscure, relatively-unknown
web-sites or magazines.
Maybe it IS a hoax...
