Comedy Central will own the complete rights to the original episodes plus
the 'new' 16 episodes (to come from the DVD's) starting Jan 1, 2008. CC
can't advertise at this point because Cartoon Network has complete rights
until December 31, 2007.

FOX and Groeneing are more interested in getting the Simpsons movie out
first. There will be pics and animaniacs from the new series to be shown
late this summer. The full pubicity blitz won't start until late fall.
The
first DVD is to be released during December, 2007.

FOX has little use for Futuama or Sci-Fi of any kind.

Let's see, Billy West states that he and the crew have recorded 16
episodes
so far. Katey Sagal has said the same in interviews. So unless DXC and
Matt Groening are lying thru their teeth, Futurama will live again.
