Which is interesting since Tuesday is traditionally the day to
release new records (and obviously in more recent years, CDs and
then DVDs).  Beat the weekend crush, and yet not right at the
beginning of the week.

It's movies that see a different opening day.  Since if they
think it may open big and/or it's opening near a holiday, they
open it on Wednesday to get the holiday crowd.
