WGA Strike, FOX & Futurama

by goyaman <nospam@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 18, 2007 at 07:06 AM

The first of the 4 new Futurama DVD movies is going to be released next
week. It's commonly known that these 4 movies are going to be chopped up
to 16 seperate episodes to air on Comedy Central.

But according to this magazine article from March. Matt Greoning mentions

the FOX network does indeed have an option to air the episodes. He
doesn't
know if they will but hopes they might.

If the WGA strike lasts a long time the networks and FOX will start
running
out of scripted programming. Does anyone else think FOX might take up
that
option and air the Futurama episodes before Comedy Central?

I do. If the strike lasts a long time it's either that or expand American

Idol to 5 nights a week. lol
