NOT that I'm arguing with you, but interestingly and ironically, thats
exactly what happened this time too, beacuse the more mature Fry DIED
and the immature one is still around to be a goofball in future
ep(aramas)(get it?).
I'll tell you something else though now that I bought the real dvd and
have seen everythig on it: Tthe commentary is just as good as the
show! They are hilarious!! And you learn a LOT more about the story.
The Hypnotoad ep is funny too... but goes on a weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
bit too long! like... 95% too long...
Here's my SPOILER complaint though....
At the end, bender goes back to apply the tattoo so that the whole
story makes sense to have happened in the first place. I know it's
kinda funny, but it just doesnt make any sense that the story happned
at ALL, if it couldnt work until the very end. Or in other words,
there was no tattoo to start with and if there WAS I'm pretty sure
someone would have noticed it before then. Or in other other words,
the begining of the story cant happen until the end! Which just doesnt
work in my mind.
Additionally, where did the tatoo come from in the first place? With
the circular referencing they did, there is no actually origin!
But even if you ignore all that, doesnt it seem more logical if say,
they came up with a back story for the tatto, then at the end sent
bender back to stop it BEFORE any of that whole mess ever happened?
They messed with a lot of stuff in the futurama universe and doing it
that way would have put it all back again at the end.
Lastly, needed more BTTF jokes imo.
Oh, last thing: Bender still HAS the code, right? No one wiped it from
his memory the last time he went back!
