OK, this ran last night on Comedy Central and seeing there hasn't been any
action in here lately (and I have no problem with ****) I thought I'd pick
some nit.
The amount in Fry's account was re****ted to be accurate seeing how much he
had in it in 2000 and the interest accrued in 100 years (though account
inactivity would have stopped this around 2005) would have given him $4.3
billion.
With this accuracy in mind I find it hard to believe his bank would have
allowed someone to empty the account of over a billion dollars with just
the
4 digit pin. Even if the ATM withdraw max were raised in 3000 to $2
billion
(up from $500 a day today) the bank should have seen the loss of billions
in
deposits as serious enough to ask a question or two.
Yea, it's a stupid TV show. However, it's im****tant enough to have a
newsgroup eh?

Isn't My Network desperate enough for Futurama?
