Crazy was decent, even with (or maybe because of) the B-list (D-list?)
celebrities that appeared. The Joke's on Us was one of the few game
shows I didn't like. Even for a Canadian show it was cheaply made and
poorly staged. Love Handles was okay...probably best remembered for
having the occasional gay couple on, something rarely seen in game
shows today, let alone a decade ago. Hardly ever saw Love Me Love Me
Know but hard to forget Ross Shafer, who looked like a Ken doll, with
plastic features and nary a hair out of place. The Mad Dash = classic
Canadian TV. A much better gig for Pierre Lalonde than when he took
over Circus with that clown as co-host. Test Pattern? I guess the
hairy back brothers live on in syndication. RIP Dan Gallagher.
There are so many more though that weren't listed. What about
Jackpot, Chain Reaction, Definition, Headline Hunters, the New Liar's
Club, It's Your Move, the Next Line, Kidstreet, Just Like Mom(!),
Second Honeymoon, Talkabout, Celebrity Talkabout, Whiz Kids, Wild
Guess or the zillions of episodes of Reach For The Top that are
hopefully still kicking around in the depths of the CBC archive, not
to mention the few noted by another poster (Bumper Stumpers, Lingo)?
They all need to see the light of day again! :-)
