What we're seeing are kinescopes: 16mm films made by pointing a movie
camera at a tv screen. Apparently G-T didn't pay for color film, which was
considerably more expensive than black-and-white film at the time.
Remember, G-T was saving these shows without a good business reason at the
time--there was no market for game show reruns then.
