Oh, geeze, and wouldn't that make SO much sense??   How about if a blouse
was just sized by bust measurements and pants by waist and hips?  You'd
still have to deal with variances in height, but at least if you bought
something today, the size number would still be meaningful in a few years!
For people who gain and lose weight regularly and who keep their closes
for
more than one season, it would be real handy to just be able to look at
clothing sizes from ten years (or whatever) ago and know if they were
going
to fit without having to try on everything individually.
