You're right.  She did say that, but it was not clear that the meds they 
gave her in the hospital had anything to do with her falling asleep at the

wheel.  I thought it was just part of her guilt list - exhausted, too
upset 
to drive, having nightmares, meds, etc.  She checked out of the hospital. 
I've been to the hospital.  If your meds will impair you from driving,
they 
make you get a ride, because they have liability.  I do remember that
Robin 
offered to call her a cab because she was exhausted, but Elizabeth said
she 
was fine.  Again, no mention of meds by the doctor.

Also, I'd like to add that Elizabeth did not know or even suspect that she

hit someone until after she got to their secret lair and then later Jason 
told her about the blood.  That is not hit and run.
