I don't think at the time she even thought she needed to think. I think
she
thought, "No way can I marry this mobster and have to worry constantly
about
being killed by a stray bullet." He had told her if she didn't say "yes"
not to bother saying "no," just to walk away. She did that, so she was
"saying no" as he had told her to do.
As I recall, it wasn't until several days later that she changed her mind,
which, as we all know, is a woman's prerogative, but that doesn't mean she
has any right to expect HIM to be hanging around being faithful while
waiting for her TO change her mind.
I hate it when they show women being wishy-washy this way. That's the
kind
of stuff that gives men a logical excuse for rape and such, "Well, yeah,
she
SAID 'no,' but I knew that she really MEANT 'yes!'"
At this point, I'm just hoping they don't drag this silliness out much
longer. If they're back together, than enjoy it and move on. It's only
going to be significant if Claudia turns out pregnant from their
encounter,
but surely a slut who picks up strange men in bars would have condoms in
her
purse and insist that they use them!
