I think it's ridiculous to compare the two.  Just because one person is
****ed up means it can happen to another?  Lady Jane being a terrible
mother means Carly gets to get off scot free?  Even if it means it would
benefit Michael (who is a child, not an adult like Jerry) if she changed
some of her parenting ways?

Not that I agree Lady Jane is a terrible mother, but even if she were,
wouldn't that make Jax even more determined to make sure Michael didn't
fall into the same trap?

I think using an adult who is messed up to compare to a child is
ridiculous.
