I see. I do get what you are saying comparing Jason to Sam. However it
doesn't explain why many here use the (non)argument that Sam is worse
than Liz to say something about how wonderful Liz is. To me, one has
nothing to do with the other.
When people criticize Liz, all you hear is a bunch of...."but Carly is
worse!" or "but Sam did this and such!!" SO?? They all are of abysmal
character!!! Saying one character is bad isn't a defense for someone
ELSE.
