Ruby, I agree with everything you said! Well, except (you knew there
would be an exception, right?) that Monica took responsibility for her
actions only after she'd been caught. She tried very hard to conceal
evidence of even having had an accident. So she's no sterling
example.
I've been very disappointed in the way everybody, except Jax, seems to
think *Michael has suffered enough*. I really expected Kate to let
Sonny know that an apology was in order, even if she didn't want to
see Michael hauled off to jail. Carly has had so many misdeeds covered
up by Sonny and Jason that it didn't surprise me that she saw no
reason to use this situation to teach her son the value of owning up.
The only thing Michael has learned is that he was right all along:
anything he does is alright because his parents will just cover it up.
And now something truly dreadful has happened. Do we consider it
another *accident* because Michael wasn't meant to be the target?
