Yes, you'd have thought this would be a great time for Carly to mention
these things to him.

Kate isn't his parent! She's not anything except the innocent victim who
nearly got killed because the mini-mobster was running around with a gun
trying to be like his dad. And it was just a couple weeks ago that
people
in here were screaming in protest at the suggestion that Jax, who IS the
kid's stepfather, should dare to involve himself in the parenting process
since he has no right because his mother did such a lousy job with him and
Jerry. I can just see what people would say about how hypocritical Kate
is
for involving herself in correcting Michael for leaving her bleeding to
death on the sidewalk, being as how she got community service for dinging
a
couple of cars and leaving those scenes!
Kate probably reads this newsgroup and wisely decided to keep quiet since
she was lucky enough to survive! LOL

Yup, you'd think...except you can't fault Jax. Again, he's only the
step-parent who has been reminded of that multiple times by both Carly and
Sonny that he needs to keep his mouth shut about disciplining the kids
unless he is agreeing with them.
Of course, we're about to have another major rift between these two since
Carly's already on the warpath since Sonny dared to take his son without
clearing it with Carly, Does she not remember her pulling the reverse
stunt
on him, by just dumping the kids off at his house without even telling him
they were coming, or finding out if he was even going to be home, while
she
flitted off out of town somewhere? And, now that Michael's been shot,
we're
going to hear again about how it is Sonny's fault, which is ironic because
he appears (on the surface, at least) to be trying very hard to become
just
a coffee im****ter.
