You didn't say whether your stepchildren live with you. Would that
make a difference? Seems that it should. If a stepchild is in your
home 24/7, it seems that you should have an almost equal say with the
bio parents as to parenting, especially if the stepchild is
endangering lives. I think being a step-parent to a teenager must be
one of the hardest job in the world! It would take the patience of a
saint to just stand by and watch when things go badly. More power to
