I watched the scene where she argued with Elizabeth about Michael's
clothing twice. Herbst's (Liz) stunted mannerisms were spot on and so
were all of Carly's mannerisms, too. It was an excellent scene and
when Carly looked down and noticed the blood I couldn't help but to
cry. There were actually a few different moments where I cried and I
usually only cry maybe three times a year because of this show. I
don't know what kind of mindset he put himself in to get to that
place, but I came all undone when Ingo (Jax) begged and pleaded and
said he would fly the plane himself if he had to in order to get to
Michael. It was completely unexpected. I had no idea (guess I didn't
pay attention?) that Jax even HAD a pilot's license to begin with, but
to know that a guy who's somewhat of a newlywed would do that for his
little stepkid was awesome.
Jerry's scenes with Dr. Ian Devlin were great, too. It was a very good
episode. I haven't seen one that flawless on GH in quite some time.
Patrick's scene with Robin regarding the emotional ties she had (and
was too stubborn to aknowledge fully in regards to being in the O.R.)
with Michael and how taking care of him as a baby parallels the
fragility of her own pregnancy impressed me, too. It was to be
expected that Patrick would *DO* that, but his facial expressions and
voice were full of such urgency that it seemed *FAR* more believable
this time around and much less about his ego or his rank, as Robin
accused. It was just him protecting Robin and their baby and nothing
more. I was glad he did it.
