I don't mind SORASING at all.  It does step the stories.  I don't need 
to have the actual length of time with these kids to grow the heck up. 
Much of the time actors who play children don't move well into the teen 
aged roll....or teens into the adult roles.  Robin, of course, would be 
the exception but certainly some of us had a lot of difficulty accepting 
her as a renowned M.D.  I still pictured her as a totally different
persona.

The teen stories aren't that interesting a lot of the time but they are 
a necessary "evil" to keep the soaps alive and on the air.  These soaps 
do not have the huge audiences Oprah and Phil have and need the added 
viewer base the teen stories bring to the table.
