She asked for it. Dating a married man was a reprehensible thing to
do, and Maxie asked for all the **** she got. But there WAS a sort of
pleasing symmetry about it. Lulu slept with Maxie's sister's husband
and ruined their marriage (OK, the marriage WAS a disaster from the
first, but I can see where Maxie would blame Lulu!) and Maxie slept
with Lulu's brother and ruined HIS marriage (which probably would have
gone south sooner or later anyway, since no one can live with a saint!)

I'm not sure Lulu's smug demeanor is any worse than Liz's, but it's
right up there beside hers! Lulu doesn't do smirk quite as well, but
she's good on snarky.
