In Phoenix we had KRUX and KRIZ. Sometimes late at night we could pick up
KOMA from Oklahoma City.

I never knew Bob Crane had been a DJ before he showed up on Hogan's
Heroes.
The most memorable thing about him to most of us in Phoenix was that he
was
murdered here. Then all the sleazy stuff came out. That was so hard to
believe because you don't expect people who play funny characters to be so
dirty. There was a movie about his life not long ago. I can't remember
now
if anyone was ever convicted or not.
