Actually Jax has complained about Carly caring more about Jason's
opinion than anybody else's and about her "dropping everything to run
to Jason" numerous times. He's kind of counting on the possibility
that she is adult enough not to sleep with somebody other than her own
husband every time her world feels like it is cra****ng down on her her
and there's no way out. I don't think that Jax lacks a backbone at
all. I think that he's finally accepted that the things he loves about
Carly outweigh her dopey behavior when it comes to Jason and outweigh
the fact that Sonny will always be a part of her life. It's like a
birthmark, in other words. I think he's just trying to live with it.
Carly talks an awful lot of **** about Sonny behind his back and
continually leads others to believe that she's absolutely fed up to
the hilt with Sonny's lifestyle and his antics, yet time and again,
when she's FINALLY reached her breaking point, she either kisses or
has *** with him. She's highly unreliable that way.
Sonny is like her tem****ary rescue man/savior. It's happened so many
times that how could Jax *NOT* expect it to keep on happening every
couple years or so at this point? If she has so much trouble getting
pregnant, let alone carrying a baby to full term after the pregnancy
with Morgan and the recent miscarriage, chances are if she were to get
pregnant via Limousine *** with Sonny, she'd quite likely either not
get pregnant at all, or else she would lose that baby, too. (Wasn't
there another pregnancy with Sonny that she miscarried, too?) Maybe
Jax is exasperated so badly by Sonny at this point that he thinks if
his wife screwed Sonny it would serve Sonny RIGHT to have a Corinthos
grow up in the home of Jasper Jacks and be raised with *Jax's* morals
and values instead of Sonny's? Maybe, if worse came to worse and Sonny
impregnated Carly, Jax thinks it would serve Sonny right to have to
love his child at a distance, like he's had to for so long with Alex's
second born child (after Sam, that is...) Kristina?
