If any Gg revival/reunion is just a 2-hour movie, then the shooting
schedule likely wouldn't conflict with MM's schedule on SW since 1) it
would likely shoot in the summer or 2) it would shoot Sookie's scenes
around her Samantha schedule. Likewise, this would also pertain to
Scott Patterson and Sean Gunn if their respective current series,
Aliens In America and October Road, actually survive, which is
doubtful in both cases. If, say, we were able to persuade Amy and
Peter Roth/Warner to do, like, an 8-hour miniseries, then I would
think that it would automatically have to shoot during the summer
unless Aliens & October Road were both cancelled.
Also, perhaps MM doesn't want to come back to the show anyway. In
that case, they'd likely take the original course of writing her out.
Sookie is not a central character like Rory is and she's not even as
im****tant a Stars Hollow Irregular as Kirk is. But I would still
think that Amy would be able to persuade MM to come back to the show
for even just a cameo, so I figure that any speculation about MM
regarding a Gg reunion is virtually a moot point.

LORELAI: I am so done with plans. I am never, ever making one again.
It never works. I spend the day obsessing over why it didn't work
and what I could've done differently. I'm analyzing all my shortcomings
when all I really need to be doing is vowing to never, ever make a plan
ever again, which I'm doing now, having once again been the innocent
victim of my own stupid plans. God, I need some coffee.
