Today ( Jan 12th). Until GG I never heard of her. Found a few pics on
Google so I knew
what she looked like.

I never heard her speak until "Bon Voyage."
"I liked the fact that young Rory was into literature and serious
journalism rather than
Brittany Spears and Paris Hilton," says Amanpour. "And of course I enjoyed
the fact that I was her
hero. CNN sent me the DVDs of the show, because I could never watch it,
and I would jump every time
my name would come up."
"I like that a Hollywood (series) concentrated on something
im****tant, especially to young
people," Amanpour says. "The message was that this smart young woman had a
serious goal and was
interested in substance, when today's culture tells you that the absolute
opposite is true."

LORELAI: What is right anyway, you know?
Who defines right? And if eating cake is wrong, I don't want to be right.
FRAN: I'm bringing out a mocha crunch cream.
LORELAI: So, ethics?
RORY: Highly subjective and completely overrated.
LORELAI: That's my girl.
