Had the feeling that Lauren's deal with NBC Uni would probably be one
of the ones that got cut. All of the studios cut a minimum of 6-12
deals (with ABC nixing around 20) via Force Majeure provisions in the
deal contracts. So, last hired/first fired, then non-productive stuff
(Hugh Jackman's deal at CBS due to Viva Laughlin), then problems (Jon
Robin Baitz at ABC over Brothers & Sisters). I think it's mostly the
first two (emphasis on the second) than the third.
Here's the bit:

Question: I fear I already know the answer, but what does the strike
mean for Lauren Graham and her deal with NBC? Now that other studios
are getting rid of their development deals, does that mean no Lauren
Graham on my television set next year? — Rachel
Ausiello: Technically, NBC has the right to suspend/terminate her deal
via the force majeure provision. And I'm guessing they did one or the
other, considering NBC issued me a cryptic "no comment." Equally
worrisome: When I pressed Ben Silverman about it, he urged me to
"start watching 30 Rock."
Rob here again:
Apparently, season 2 of Friday Night Lights is scheduled for release
at the end of April, with only these 15 episodes that have aired, so
FNL's fate is a huge question mark, too. It's also another show I'd
go to the mat for in a Save Our Show campaign. Except, like, not in
organizing it.

LORELAI: I am so done with plans. I am never, ever making one again.
It never works. I spend the day obsessing over why it didn't work
and what I could've done differently. I'm analyzing all my shortcomings
when all I really need to be doing is vowing to never, ever make a plan
ever again, which I'm doing now, having once again been the innocent
victim of my own stupid plans. God, I need some coffee.
