This brings up the old arguement we had many years ago.....
at 18 you can be drafted, go to Viet Nam, get killed but
you can't go drink a beer.
You can sign a contract, you can get married, but you
can't have a beer.
I will say though I feel strongly that girls under 18 are
jail bait and should remain that way. Legally they can't
give conscent and the law should remain that way.

Except that if they have kids you can have a situation like where
mom is in her thirties, but dad is in his seventies and could be
in his ninities when the kid is in school.

That I have a big problem with. If they aren't of legal age
then they aren't of legal age and it is statutory rape.
.. because I

I know some people who matured early, at the age of say 12. On the
other hand I know some people who never mature at any age.

Having a number of arrests for drunk driving tells me otherwise.

Let me put it this way though.....I drank lots of alchohol in
college, and had lots of times where I was absolutely plastered.
But througout all those years I never got behind the wheel
of a car. I either slept over that night or took
mass transit home.
It's the drunk driving I take issue with.
BTW, I would point out one of the best ways to
handle alcholism is to have the drinking age
be 18. When I was in college the drinking age
was 18, kids did their drinking in bars where
experienced bartenders could watch them
and knew how to handle drunk kids. Once the
age was raised to 21 the problem was forced
out of the bars and into cars...thus
more drunk driving. The drinking still continued.
Personally i'd make the drinking age 15
and make the driving age 35.

I'm not sure about that. My understanding is when she
shaved her head she did it to avoid drug testing that
K-Fed wanted to do. As far as the other things she
has done, i'm not sure we know the entire story yet.
As far as the thing with her running over the foot of or
hitting a photographer.....maybe if they weren't
blocking her or hounding her every minute of the
day then they wouldn't get hit by the car.
It's almost like the photographers sent
a personal invitation to her to hit them
with her car. "We are going to take
photos of her and the only way she can
avoid it is mow us down with her car."
So maybe if your a photographer
and you get hit by the person
you're photographing you deserve
it if you're hit by the car.
What part of get out of the way of
the car do you not comprehend?

Maybe what she needs is privacy and not have
paparazi following every move she makes
24/7/365.
