    The law was changed (at least here in Florida) during the VN war, and
you could buy alcohol at 
18. And after Viet Nam ended, so many 18 year old high school students
were buying beer, etc., and 
bringing it to school. And so many being killed in auto accidents, the law
was changed back to 
having to be 21 to buy alcohol.
