And what really bothers me about that is that you (the generic 'you',
I mean)KNEW... YOU KNEW... that that "season finale" was really a
series finale in sheep's clothing. There was no way in hell it
could've been a season finale. Too many nails were put into the
proverbial coffin in the series finale for that last episode to be a
season finale. The thing about that, though, is that that final
episode was one of THE WORST series finales that I'VE personally ever
seen. Rob may have his head in the clouds, as far as a reunion
episode or movie that gives us closure is concerned, but one thing
that I *think* Rob and I agree on, IIRC, is that that final episode
SUCKED as a "series" finale. It was BS... and maybe that's why Rob
(and others... I do not mean to just single out Rob here) is so
hopeful for a movie/extended episode that gives us some closure.
TPTB pretty much just screwed us, and gave us fans... us LOYAL fans...
a pretty ****y series finale in the process. No one associated with
GG seems to give a damn about that, though, because while they were
filming the series finale, they kept saying **** like, "We're working
towards getting the show back for one more season... we really are.
It MAY not happen, but we [TPTB] are VERY, VERY hopeful that GG will
return for one more season." Meanwhile, THEY KNEW ALL ALONG, I firmly
believe, that that final episode of last season was going to be the
last episode of GG. In short, TPTB dicked over their fans.
