Rune isn't the guy from the business class. Rune is Jackson's
cousin who Jackson set up on a date with Lorelai in the Season One
episode "Double Date." Upon meeting Lorelai, Rune proceeded to
loudly complain to Jackson for setting him up with a woman who was
"too tall".
This would not be my first reaction if I was in Rune's situation...
