American Express, however, would spell her name as Lorelai V Gilmore
on her Plumcard. (V for Victoria, btw.)
Sorry about the typo check, but it allowed me the op****tunity to
namedrop Lorelai's middle name. (FTR, Rory's middle name is Leigh and
is a direct-but-alternately-spelled reference to Lorelei Lee from,
y'know, some old movie starring some dame named Marilyn.)

LORELAI: I am so done with plans. I am never, ever making one again.
It never works. I spend the day obsessing over why it didn't work
and what I could've done differently. I'm analyzing all my shortcomings
when all I really need to be doing is vowing to never, ever make a plan
