Okay, yes, I know, I'm not going to start another go-round of watching
the show until the summer, but I couldn't resist looking at the
comments for "Raincoats" (4.22).

I'm sorta failing to see the problem that you guys are discussing with
the staging of the scene of Kirk's nightmare rush outside as Lor and
Luke are smoochilating each other. By definition of it being a night
terror, he's actually SLEEPWALKING (in this case, sleep-running). He's
completely unaware of Lorelai and Luke and anything they are doing to
or with each other. They could be buffing the doorframe with each
other's backs (if you know what I mean) and Kirk probably would have
plowed through them -- but, of course, the show isn't on HBO.

So what actually happens is that Kirk is Sleep-running/sleep-screaming
out of the Dragonfly and it's just Amy taking artistic and comedic
license to time it so that he comes ru****ng out between the two at
just the right moment.[1]

PS: Like Luke's sperm spurting into Lorelai's va-jay-jay. The Yonnic
imagery is unmistakeable. BID. And that's also why they call it
Aristic License and Licentious Artistry. Or something.

LORELAI: I am so done with plans. I am never, ever making one again.
It never works. I spend the day obsessing over why it didn't work
and what I could've done differently. I'm analyzing all my shortcomings
when all I really need to be doing is vowing to never, ever make a plan
ever again, which I'm doing now, having once again been the innocent
victim of my own stupid plans. God, I need some coffee.
