After 15 years, it's time to say goodbye to HBO for me. I haven't
watched anything on the channel since the end of the Sopranos. I
think I only waiting the past few months in hopes that something would
come along that would prompt me to keep a subscription.
With all of the media available to me, HBO has lost its cornerstones.
For me, it jumped the shark with the Deadwood fiasco.
If there is a show that captures my interest in the future, I can do a
couple of things - re subscribe or wait for the DVD. Either way, this
is a service that is in desperate need to re-invent itself and I'm
just not willing to keep shelling out money while they do it.
Anyway, so long - sorry to say I don't think I'm going to miss you at
all.
