For us here on Vancouver Island, it was loss of power through an almighty 
windstorm. 

For Mike and I personally, it involved our skylight on the roof into the 
bathroom blowing off across the lawn at 7 am allowing the driving rain to 
pour in! Not pretty but thanks to a wonderful roofer locally, he had it 
back up tem****arily within 2 hours and totally replaced within 2 days. 
Now that's service for you AND he wasn't a young man running up and down 
a ladder onto our roof in that terrible weather. 

Power came back on after lunchtime and the sun had the cheek to come out 
and ****ne pretending everything was just fine and dandy. Most of the 
local roads were closed with tree loss etc but back to normal now and 
awaiting the next "fury".

No boring life for us!
