On a practical level, HL can't be re-launched if there is no funding
for it.  TPTB are doing the comic book and the video game because
companies came forward and asked for the license.  If no production
companies are interested in a new HL  movie or TV series they won't
happen. Until a production company is interested, then talking about
whether the new movie or series should be focused on Connor or some
totally new Immortal is premature to say the least.  At HLWW 8  David
A. seemed to be indicating that all new HL would be about new
Immortals in the future, but it's all theoretical at this point.

But even  with the total mishandling of The Source, I wouldn't declare
HL dead.  I wouldn't underestimate David A. who truly loves HL and is
determined to keep it going.  As always, this is IMAO.
