Re quest for mortality--Sometimes the people who write the publicity
material for a movie have no idea what it's about. The Fountain was a
prime example. This also happened repeatedly with HL:TS.  Don't you
remember the ads promoting it as a time travel series?

 I have seen The Source and I think "the quest for mortality" is a
misinterpretation.  And mortality certainly wasn't what the Immortals
involved in the quest were looking for.  It's not an accurate
characterization of The Source's plot.
