Never heard of it.  Fudge is kind of an English sweetie - in Scotland
we make "tablet", which starts off similar (ingredients etc) but ends 
up firmer, less chewy, slightly granular texture, that melts on the 
tongue in a burst of sweetness and flavour (butter and vanilla).
