How did this come about?
How many of the linked books etc. are genuine products (I spent way too
much
time reading the reviews and linking, the geometric progression of this
effort led to neglect of normal daily activities and bodily functions).
How did you find it?

The Brits are very good at this sort of thing. The Christmas issue of the
British Medical Journal is usually well worth reading (unlike the regular
issues).
