Re storms in Vancouver Island-- Northern California is also suffering
from storms. The wind was so gusty and the rain so hard that I
decided not to go into work today. I would have gotten soaked through
just walking to and from bus stops and there's no heat at work. My
boss just said "We'll see you, Monday." There's been flooding here
and power failures, though my power is fine so far. (Knock on
monitor.)
