Ahhhhhh, but after 7 years of George W. Bush as Our Leader, I will
indeed vote for any Democrat who is nominated. As for my choice of the
Democrats in contention for the nomination, any of them will do. Any
of them. And that most heartily includes Senator Clinton, whom I hold
in high regard. I do not approve of everything she's done, but she's
had the misfortune of serving as Senator under the aegis of the Bush
Administration which seemed *and seems to this very day* to hold
unnatural sway over the legislative branch of the government. And the
judicial branch, as well. To my mind, we're royally screwed until
January 2009 ... at which point, the spell will break and we can start
to fix what has been broken ... unless through the auspices of an
irretrievably impaired electorate, an amok judiciary, or a case of
voting fraud unparalleled in the known universe, another Republican is
sent to the White House.
The mind, quite simply, boggles at the prospect.
