The Source is not where it all ends up.

The Source was actually a nightmare Methos had...a really really bad
nightmare....where he gets all involved and the world goes to hell and
he actually gets caught by *shudder* mortals and tied up.  Like THAT
would ever happen!

Then he woke up and went back into hiding for another 1000 or so
years.
