Sometimes I think there's no rhyme or reason in the way my library 
categorizes books. Young Adult appears to be for teens and Juvenile for
pre 
and early teens. Some books like the Harry Potter series are listed as
both 
YA and J. Some books, like His Dark Materials are listed J, others such as

Carl Hiaasen's Hoot are YA. I tend to ignore Juvenile-listed books but
will 
try Young Adult if they're recommended.
